Enzyme lab report: trouble shooting

Hi guys,

Just a quick reminder that enzyme lab report is due on February 13th. All the queries that you post to us about how to write and what to write will be shared here.

How to write references
There are numerous ways to cite something but lets all stick to an example that I am giving here.

For a sentence, "Enzymes are highly specific for the reaction they catalyze and they are typically grouped according to their specific function. They also work by lowering the activation energy".
An ideal way to cite this would be, "Enzymes are highly specific for the reaction they catalyze and they are typically grouped according to their specific function1. They also work by lowering the activation energy2".
Please super script 1 and 2. Some how it is not supported on this blog

At the end of your lab report you will mention.
1 Lombard, K. and Terry, T. Analysis of amino acids and proteins. Biology 107 Laboratory manual. Spring 2007 ed., 69.
2 Campbell,N.A. and Reece,J.B. An introduction to metabolism. Biology, 7th ed.,152.

The way above format works:
1 Name of authors, Name of chapter, Book, Year, Page nos.
